In Guangzhou...Our Final Steps to the US

Our first trip in Guangzhou was to a clinic. Leah had to have a physical as part of the US Visa application. She passed with flying colors! She had some scabies mites when we first received her. Our treatments seemed to have done the trick. She has a little eczema on her face and some pretty tough diaper-related dermatitis which we are also treating. These are all pretty common issues for adopted kids. The video below was taken during her ears, nose and throat examination.

Leah loves to eat any type of food. She does amazingly well with all sorts of food especially considering she has a giant hole between her mouth and nose (i.e. her cleft palate). Sometimes we get a present after dinner when she pulls from her nose a part of her meal.

Keegan and Dad are into trying as many unique foods as they can. We went to a Thai restaurant on Saturday night. Dad and Keegan enjoyed the squid. We stopped by a fish market on Saturday and found plenty of food that would work well on the TV show "Fear Factor". Dad liked the water beetles and Keegan and Connor thought the snakes and eels were pretty awesome.
